Allergic and non-allergic rhinitis in swimmers: clinical and cytological aspects.

Abstract

A neutrophilic rhinitis occurs in a large proportion of swimmers.

This seems to be irritative in its nature and can be prevented by avoiding the direct contact with chlorinated water.
