Oral mucoceles: a clinicopathologic review of 1,824 cases, including unusual variants.

Abstract

Our results confirm the findings of previous investigators regarding the major clinicopathologic features of oral mucoceles.

Special variants of oral mucoceles occur infrequently, although it is important to recognize these variants to avoid misdiagnosis.
