Antimetastatic activity of honokiol in osteosarcoma.

Honokiol exhibited prominent antimetastatic activity in experimental osteosarcoma and caused rapid cell death in vitro that was unrelated to necrosis, apoptosis, or autophagy.

The authors concluded that honokiol has considerable potential for the treatment of metastasizing osteosarcoma.
